AleSmith Brewing Company Hosts Fright Nights at the Brewery, Starting Friday, October 13th

Spooky Season has arrived at the San Diego brewery with new releases, a haunted brewery trail, kid-friendly trick of treat trail, and more.

 

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 2023) – AleSmith Brewing Company is thrilled to announce the return of Fright Nights, an interactive haunted brewery trail that gives Halloween and craft beer fans a chilling behind-the-scenes look at the brewery. Fright Nights kicks off Friday the 13th with a Dark Arts local vendor market, a new beer release, and the return of Evil Dead Red, a hoppy red ale that the brewery has been making every year for the past decade. Mark your calendars, because this unique and immersive experience promises to deliver thrills, chills, and a hauntingly good time for all attendees.

Fright Nights at AleSmith is in its third year partnering with Scareventures for an event that combines the love for craft beer with the spirit of Halloween. The brewery’s tasting room will be transformed into a hauntingly festive space, creating a spooky atmosphere to set the stage for an unforgettable time.

This year’s Fright Nights at AleSmith features the haunted attraction, “Bone Dry: The Curse of Evil Dead Red.” This interactive haunted trail takes guests on a journey through the origins of AleSmith’s popular seasonal brew, Evil Dead Red Ale. Explore Calavera Springs, a town filled with mystery and supernatural occurrences, and uncover the secrets behind this beloved beer. Please note that the haunted attraction is not recommended for children under 12 years old.

General admission tickets for Fright Nights at AleSmith start are $30 each and include entrance into the haunted attraction and one pint of beer in the tasting room. Admission without draft beeris $25. Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite.

In addition to the haunted trail, Fright Nights at AleSmith will feature a Dark Arts Market on opening night (October 13th). Local art vendors will be set up in the tasting room, offering a variety of jewelry, clothing, art prints, and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to find unique and spooky treasures.

For families looking for a less intense experience, AleSmith has also prepared a Trick or Treat family-friendly version of their Haunted Maze. Kids can enjoy a fun and laid-back trail throughout the brewery, with multiple attractions and treats along the way. The Trick or Treat trail will be occurring October 21st, October 28th, and October 29th. Tickets and more information can be found here.

 

To make this event even more exciting, AleSmith Brewing Company is proud to announce the release of their new Small Batch beer, Dead Man’s Double IPA. This DDH (Double Dry-Hopped) West Coast-Style IPA boasts a robust 8% ABV and is brewed with Phantasm, Enigma, and Citra hops. The artwork for this special release features the talent of renowned artist David Lozeau. Dead Man’s Double IPA will be available on draft and in 16oz 4-packs exclusively at the AleSmith Tasting Room, while supplies last.
