PRIVATE EVENT FAQs
  • “ARE TABLES AND CHAIRS INCLUDED WHEN BOOKING A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE?”
    • Answer: Yes, most of our private event spaces come with furniture and the ability to create your own custom floor plan to suit the needs of your event.
  • “HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT TOURING YOUR PRIVATE EVENT SPACES?”
    • Answer:  One on one meetings to tour our facility can be done by submitting a scheduling request using the collapsable “SCHEDULE A TOUR OF OUR EVENT SPACES” button above or please feel free to contact Erin Clifford by calling (619) 308-6933 or emailing [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
  • “CAN I HAVE A DJ OR LIVE MUSIC FOR MY EVENT?”
    • Answer: Yes! We welcome the use of outside DJs or live music and politely request notice and approval by AleSmith Brewing Company ahead of time.
  • “DOES ALESMITH ALLOW OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?”
    • Answer: All alcoholic beverages must be provided by AleSmith Brewing Company. We do not allow outside alcoholic beverages.
  • “DO WE ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERING?”
    • Answer: Yes of course!  You are more than welcome to bring in your own food, utilize the food trucks on site day of or use an outside caterer for your private event. If you use an outside caterer, we simply ask they provide a health permit and proof of insurance.
  • “HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOUR LOCATION ACCOMMODATE?”
    • Answer: Our tasting room has multiple private event space options, perfect for small parties of 10-15 or anywhere up to 500ppl+.
  • “ARE DECORATIONS ALLOWED?”
    • Answer: Yes!  Decorations are allowed. We politely request no confetti or glitter.  Candles are permitted and must be enclosed using votive/candle holders.
  • “CAN WE HAVE SLIDESHOWS, VIDEO PRESENTATIONS, OR PLAY MUSIC?”
    • Answer: Of course! AleSmith has a variety of AV equipment including PA systems, microphones, TVs, projectors, and projection screens.

Upstairs Mezzanine

Our Mezzanine is a plush event space that features its own private bar, private restrooms, beer package options, an outdoor deck, and plenty of tables & seating with custom floor plan options available.

SEATING CAPACITY: 120 guests
FULL CAPACITY: 200 guests

Dugout 19

Our Dugout 19 is a combined indoor and outdoor event space located on the main level of the tasting room. Equipped with wrap around bench seating, cocktail tables, folding chairs, beer package options and a flat screen TV. The room opens out onto a sectioned off area of our patio.

CAPACITY: up to 50-75 guests

Anvil & Stave

The Anvil and Stave is AleSmith’s very own speakeasy!  This event space provides an intimate setting, with dim lighting, plush seating, private bar, private bartender, beer package options and barrel aged beer options exclusive to the Anvil and Stave.

CAPACITY: up to 20 guests

Additional Event Options

AleSmith Tasting Room offers additional private event options for larger groups including outdoor patio buyouts, barrel room, and complete tasting room buyouts.
