AleSmith Kicks off 2023 with New Speedway Stout Variant
San Diego Brewery Rolls Salted Caramel Brownie Edition of their iconic Speedway Stout
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 2023) – AleSmith Brewing Company is proud to announce the release of Speedway Stout: Salted Caramel Brownie Edition, a new rendition of their iconic Imperial Stout with coffee that will be available nationwide in 16oz 4-pack cans starting this month.
This indulgent flagship variant of the iconic Speedway Stout is an irresistible combination of smooth coffee and rich chocolate flavors with subtle notes of caramel and sea salt. The beer is brewed using Madagascar vanilla beans, fleur de sel sea salt, cacao nibs, and cocoa powder which result in an intensely flavorful experience. Clocking in at 12% ABV, AleSmith Speedway Stout: Salted Caramel Brownie Edition has all the makings of a dessert beer with roasty aromas, bold espresso flavors, sweet notes of caramel, and a smooth balance between bitter chocolate and salty sweetness. Enjoy it on its own or pair it with your favorite desserts for an even more immersive experience.
“Speedway Stout has been a staple for us for decades and we wanted to take it to the next level this year by introducing this special variant. We decided to go with salted caramel brownie because we knew our fans would enjoy its unique flavor profile while still being able to recognize the classic Speedway Stout taste they know and love,” said Ryan Crisp, Director of Brewing Operations at AleSmith Brewing Company. “This beer will transport you into a world full of deliciousness — we can’t wait for everyone to try it!”
The official release for Speedway Stout: Salted Caramel Brownie Edition kicked off this week at the AleSmith Tasting Room.
