AleSmith Gets Ready for Halloweekend with Fright Nights: A Haunting Celebration for Beer and Fear Enthusiasts

San Diego, CA – October 24, 2023 – AleSmith Brewing Company, a leading craft brewery in San Diego, invites thrill-seekers and beer lovers to experience Fright Nights, a month-long haunted celebration with a spooky twist. Dive into the chilling atmosphere of our haunted maze, savor seasonal brews, explore an art market, and unleash your creativity in pumpkulent workshops this weekend at the brewery. Fright Nights Haunted Maze: Journey into the Origins of Evil Dead Red Ale
Step into the eerie atmosphere of Calavera Springs, where the origins of AleSmith’s beloved seasonal brew, Evil Dead Red Ale, come to life. Join us on select nights in October for “Bone Dry: The Curse of Evil Dead Red,” an immersive haunted attraction produced by Scareventures. Brace yourself for a heart-pounding experience unlike any other in San Diego County. The haunt is open from 7:30pm-10:30pm on October 27th, 28th, and 29th. General Admission Tickets are $30 each and include entrance to the Haunt, as well as beer activations during the trail for guests aged 21 and over. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
Trick or Treat Trail: A Fun Adventure for the Whole Family
A family-friendly trail will be available this Saturday and Sunday from 3-7pm for Trick-or-Treating throughout the brewery. Children can enjoy a “monsterless” not-so-scary haunt, collecting goodies along the way. Tickets are $10 per participant and include entry, candy, a coloring page, and free face painting. Art Market: Discover Unique Halloween-Themed Treasures
Immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit at a one-of-a-kind Art Market, featuring local vendors and artists. Join us on Saturday, October 28th, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, and Sunday, October 29th, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, in the Tasting Room. Explore a wide array of Halloween-themed creations, from artwork to unique treasures.
Pumpkulent Workshops: Create Spooky Decorations with Succulents
Unleash your creativity at AleSmith Brewing Company’s pumpkulent workshops, hosted by Stemtations San Diego. Decorate a small pumpkin with succulents and Halloween decorations, crafting your very own spooktacular “pumpkulent.” Tickets are $39 each and include a small pumpkin, succulents, decorative materials, and your first beer. Dead Man’s Double IPA Release featuring artwork by David Lozeau
To add to the excitement, AleSmith Brewing Company is proud to announce the release of their latest Small Batch beer, Dead Man’s Double IPA. This West Coast-Style IPA coming in at 8% ABV with Enigma and Citra hops, along with the addition of a newer ingredient to the brewery scene, Phantasm. An extraction from New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc grapes, Phantasm is added to this brew to give a boost of tropical fruit notes and aromas. This beer is available on draft and in 16oz 4-packs exclusively at the AleSmith Tasting Room and features the artwork of local artist, David Lozeau. In addition to the can labels, guests can also see Lozeau’s art on display at the brewery with prints available for purchase.
