What Are Your Thoughts on the San Diego Craft Beer Scene and AleSmith’s role in it?
To be part of such a dynamic brewing scene is an honor. San Diego breweries are among the best in the world and the variety within the county is admirable. Additionally, AleSmith has consistently been at the forefront of the industry and I enjoy and appreciate our dedication to stylistic accuracy.
How your history with craft beer has developed your passion for craft brewing:
Growing up in San Diego, I’ve known about craft beer and its place in San Diego for as long as I can remember. I was raised to support local businesses and exploring what San Diego has to offer. My parents were into aging wine and my dad was always into buying the “new/funky” beers he found at the liquor stores around town. Needless to say, as I got older, I fell in love with craft beer!

Born and raised in San Diego, currently living in North Park with my husband and our dog, Leroy. When I’m not working at AleSmith, I enjoy spending time with my friends, enjoying my neighborhood and craft beer!
