The New York Times recently performed a blind taste test of 20 different Belgian and Belgian-style golden ales, and we’re pleased to tell you that Horny Devil placed third, amidst some very stiff competition. Bested only by Belgium’s Gavere and Jolly Pumpkin’s Oro De Calabaza (both stellar, so there’s no shame in placing third), Horny Devil was praised as “a bright, spicy, beautifully balanced brew that wears its 11 percent alcohol very lightly.”
